SGA Jr. / SGA+ Fall Ryder Cup Programs
The Smart Golf Academy's 6 Week Fall Junior Ryder Cup Programs start August 14th. Our SGA Jr. & SGA Jr.+ programs will have Junior's consistently Practicing 1 hour or 90 minutes each week (once or twice a week) with 4 Ryder Cup Sunday Play-Day matches that will include a different format of play each week. At the SGA, we are always striving to meet the commitment levels of each and every player while having a blast on the road to improvement. We look forward to seeing you on the course this Fall!

Play Formats Explained:
Singles
The First & Final round of competition will feature singles match play rounds with each golfer going head-to-head against a golfer on the opposing team.
Foursome (Alternate Shot)
In foursome, the two-man teams play one with alternating golfers taking swings, as well as tee shots. The lowest score wins the hole or it is halved if both sides post the same score.
Four-Ball
In four-ball, each side has a two-man team. Each individual plays their own ball and each team counts the lower of its scores on a single hole. If the two teams post the same low score, the hole is halved.
4 Player Scramble
The four-man scramble features teams of four players competing against one another. In this format, each team's players hit from the teebox, then the team members choose the best of the four shots for the next shot. All team members then play the second shot from that location, and again choose the best shot.
